While I am searching for some random wallpapers for my phone in Zedge, I stumbled  upon this cute cartoon wallpaper of the Glee cast! It was uploaded by someone named Foerghann. It got me curious of who made this cutie drawing so I googled it and found out that it was made by Nicky Rutten. I found her other artworks on NickyToons at DeviantArt. I gotta say, four-thumbs up (including my foot thumbnail :P) for you, Miss Nicky. You're incredibly awesome~!!!

Vampire Academy

One of my favorite books is the Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead. It tells the story of a seventeen year old Dhampir girl named Rose Hathaway. She is training to be a bodyguard to her bestfriend, Vasilisa 'Lissa' Dragomir, a Moroi princess.

Rose is also mysteriously bonded to Lissa, she can read her mind and feelings. And while Rose is learning how to defeat the undead and evil vampires, or the Strigoi, she was caught in a forbidden romance with her instructor, Dimitri Belikov.

I give this book a two thumbs up. Read it too and maybe it will also be listed to your favorite-book-list. :)

Unhappy

Truth to be told, I am not anymore happy with what Im doing.

Yes, I'm stressed but it should not matter. If I love what I'm doing, at the end of the day, I'll sleep with no worry and wakes up looking forward for the day.

But what's happening is the total opposite. I'm dreading everyday I go to work. I don't even have the energy to start my task. I don't know where to start and how to end.

I'm satisfied with my previous task and I'm loving it. But unfortunately, I was given a new task and moved to a new core group, and honestly, I am not loving it, nor closer to liking.

It's like this task is draining my energy everyday. My brain can't produce any idea anymore. I don't even like to smile cause I feel dead inside. I'm like a robot built to do what was commanded. No feelings, no emotions and can't even say No. And I don't want to talk to someone coz I fear I might burst to tears if I start blabbing.

So. Here is where I end up. Ruining my blog. Blabbing nonsense just to ease what I'm feeling. Please just ignore this. Kapeesh? :)

3 Idiots

One of my top-of-list best movie today is the 2009 Indian comed film 3 Idiots. The film is about the three 'idiot' student as they struggle their way out of college.

Rancho, Farhan and Raju met at the Imperial College of Engineering (ICE) where they are all engineering students and shares a room in the dormitory. Farhan is a son of a father who wanted him to be an engineer. Farhan pursue he's father's wish despite of his wish to become a wildlife photographer. Raju is from a poor family with a sick father, unwed sister and a weeping mother. Raju is studying engineering to help his family rise above poverty. Rancho is the rebel among them, always questioning things and have different perspective in education. He plays as a fool but actually a real-brainer. He always tops the class, however, he's friends are always flunkeys. Despite of this, he encourages his friends and help them to graduate.

During their stay in the college, Rancho and his friends earn the wrath of Professor Virus, the college director. Because of this, he attempted many times to break up Rancho's friendship to Farhan and Raju.

Despite Rancho's fun and frolic, he surprises everyone by topping the class. Pia, the directors's daughter, even fall in love with him because of his kindness helping his friend and makes them realize their true calling - Farhan being a wildilfe photographer and Raju stepping out of his fears.

On their Graduation Day, after being awarded the best in their class, Rancho suddenly and mysteriously disappear without saying goodbye to his friends.

Years later, Farhan and Raju received a call from Silencer, Rancho's rival in class and now a wealthy businessman that promised to become more successful than him, that he found Rancho's whereabouts. Soon, they found themselves on a journey to find Rancho.

When they found Rancho's house, they found a different Rancho. They learned their friend Rancho, real name as Chhote, substitute the real Rancho in school since he disliked to study. Soon, Rancho revealed that their friend is a school teacher a small town.

They come out searching for Chhote/Rancho now named as Phunsukh Wangdu, a famous scientist and prospective businessman associate of Silencer.

The film 3 Idiots is a story of great friendship, unending hope, aspirations and goodness of life.

Avoid meeting SICKNESS

Summer is here. Time to get out in the sun and have fun. Yet, it is the time of the year that colds and flu lurks around the corner waiting to hit our immune system and leaves us sick at home.

Unfortunate for me, I got hit by colds and a damn sore throat, even though I took some precautions to avoid this sickness. But this colds and sore throat won't stop me in my work. What I did is to give remedy to this sickness, and it costs me some money and effort.

If you don't want to suffer like me, here are some few tips to avoid getting sick in the first place.

Hello vitamins C and E. 
Vitamin C prevents you from getting colds and even helps you get over a cold faster. Also, "Vitamin E makes white blood cells more efficient at fighting off infection" explaines by Brian Levine, M.D., medical director of The Cough Center in Laguna Hills, CA. You can get Vitamin C by taking supplement or eating fruits vitamin-rich like citrus fruits. Almonds, peanut butter, and sunflower seeds are all good sources of E.

Restful sleep
When you body is fatigued, you tend to get sick because your body is tired and your immune system get weak. This will be the chance of flu to attack and get past of your defenses. So sleep well and don't deprive yourself of sleep.

Eat healthy
Include a healthy selection of vegetables and fruits in you diet. Avoid too much sugar as possible because it's known to your immune defenses.

Exercise
Yep, the most common tip but gives you a great defense against sickness. It's a great way to boost your immune system. It also increases you blood circulation and make it flow better, thus allowing your defenses to fight an illness in your system.

Wash and sanitize
It's the best prevention in getting flu. Wash your hands frequently using natural soap and lather up thoroughly, as long as singing a happy birthday song. With this, you can kill viral germs that causes colds and flu. Use a hand sanitizer if you can't wash your hands.

Drink regularly
Not alcoholic beverages, but water. Yes, drinking water regularly is healthful. It flushes out the toxins which cause diseases as well as other harmful substances that we expose ourselves everyday.

Have a good laugh
After all, laughter is the best medicine. :)

First Blood

I'm a fan of blog sites coz I love reading. I always wanted to have a blog of my own but I'm just not good in maintaining one. That's because I'm a laaaaaaazy and start-now-finish-it-someday type. Also, I don't have the talent in writing, which is really unfortunate for me :) I'd attempted many times to keep a blog but it always ended up either empty or left hanging or simply forgotten. There was one blog I kept before - that's because it was required by our college professor - but luckily.. it was forgotten after I graduated. Since then, I always tried to set up a new blog but, yeah, it was, as always, forgotten.

And now, my friends/classmates a.k.a. Ban of Belers *scratch Belers*.. Ban of Brothers (BoB) got back to blogging (I dunno if they stopped like I did. :D). They always skyped to visit their blogs and blah blah. As their friend *angel face*, I visit their blog for the sake of an increase on their $. Haha. Nah. I did it just because they said so. But really, it's for the $, right? :)

One of my friend, Mish, got encourage to make a blog of her ow. So she did, and as well as I. Well, I just hope and pray to the gods of blog that I can keep this blog up and kicking.
